Good Luck to any team members that are getting to go hunt in either MS or AL this week. Ya'll be careful and watch out for snakes. I went and scouted a piece of land yesterday and came up on about a 3ft long king snake laying out. I figure if he's out those venomous snakes are also. Again, Good luck and Becareful to my team mates givin' it a try this week! :smiley-patriotic-flagwaver-an
Thanks! I'll be over in Alabama Thursday morning! Cant wait. Its getting hard to sleep! haha
Good call. With the temps being in the mid 70s here Im sure they are starting to make their way out.
weatherman I listen to out of Birmingham said it may get up to 84 around these parts about friday. Looks like summer time weather for a while, thats alright maybe that will keep those tornadoes away.
Will keep my eyes peeled in Ms. Good Luck Bustabeak. Hopefully we can get a few birds on the board early, and then often. Bustabeak, the travel call is on its way to you!
The only good one is a dead one. I killed a copper head last season, and it's going to be hot tomorrow. When I set up in the dark I'm always worried about sitting in ants or on a snake.
I hate snakes LOL
Davisd9 and I ran across a small copperhead Thursday. It was laying in a grown up road with his mouth open, just waiting on me to get a little closer. I jumped back and keep an eye on it while Donald went to find a suitable beating implament. A few minutes later we were in the birds.
"A suitable beating implament" lol I like that. Im hoping I don't run across anymore snakes than the one I seen the other day.
That's one good thing about Illinois where I live don't have to worry about snakes. Glad you were able to take care of him. :z-guntootsmiley:
