Title: New WildTalker ready
Post by: CallDr on March 13, 2012, 07:53:10 PM
I just signed on last night and what a nice forum!

I just got in the new WildTalker "Kliier" Slate calls in and am Very happy with the sound. The only thing is the decretive ring I had laser engraved got off center. So this first batch I am going to sell them at a discount.... sound spits feathers! I opted to drop the ring on the next batch.

I will Post a pic.......

I also sent the art work in today and will have the new WildTalker Spittin Feathers CD in shortly. It's 37 tracks and a full 60 min of the best sounds in 15 years of recording. The is NO talking but the Wild Talkers ;)

Good to see you here Mike. Did you ever get that white gobbler mounted that you killed a few years ago? If so post up some pics I want to see that thing again. I have a buddy that says he has a white gobbler on his property this year. He doesn't know if it's a smoke phase or an albino. Hopefully he'll send pictures of it if he kills it.

I donated the Ghost Gobbler to Cowden Plantation and don't think they ever mounted it? What a shame after all the hoopla ;) and see it go to waste.

Here is the Pic of the callers.

There are only 50 of these with the ring ( first run) . I have dropped the decotitive ring since the first ones got off center. The next batch next week will be just the name and logo.

My brother came over a couple of days ago and I gave him one of the new Killer slates. He had been sick and had an opperation on his prostrate. ( ouch! )

He was feeling better and yesterday he went fishing at my cousins farm that has Wild Turkeys there. He was walking through the woods to the pond and took the call out and hit a lick. Boom......... 175 yards away a turkey gobbled. He called me on his cell phone "whispering"....lol.... and said "a turkey just gobbled and I think he is coming"..... I'll call you back.

He called up the Gobbler and was So excited. It's not Turkey season here in NC yet....... but after being home bound for a month with tube up his "thingie".. ;)...  it really lifted his spirits and he is now Pumped for the season to come in.

FYI..... I am looking forward to getting the production new SF CD in. Every caller I sell there is one included. I figure it's the best training tool for everyone.

Hopefully it want be long before they ship the CD and new Trumpets.

Yet I will sell just the CD for 10 bucks.

Thought I should explain that.
