Therma cell, halloran calls, hooks executioner II, extra mask and gloves! Any suggestions?
Moon floss.
toilet paper
blood and turkey feathers. Some of the blood is mine.
small pair of binoculars and a few light dove loads for snakes or cripples
I've got the kitchen sink in mine. But one thing the previous posters are missing is a snake bite kit. I hate those SOBs and have had too many close calls not to carry one.
skoal can with a few mouth calls, a copper or aluminum pot call and a few strikers, thermocell, extra shells....in case they return fire.
Too much crap for sure.
To much ! And I can never leave anything behind either because I know I'll need it the day I take it out.
Handfull of shells, two slates, osage, perssimon, hickory and Dymalux strikers, five or six diaphragms from raspy to clear, two mask, two pair of gloves, baby wipes, extra "Be Safe Sticker" for hunting in Missiouri, compact binos, skeeter spray.
You name it, it's in there.
I always start out with way too much and towards the end of the season it keeps getting lighter. I start asking do I really need this?
2 pot calls a couple of mouth calls, a bottle of water, TP, maybe a sandwich, granola bars, an apple
Way too much!
Slate and glass call, hickory striker, carbon striker, might add another striker this year. four or five mouth calls, locator call, pruners/mini-saw, binos, Fix Kit (TP and baby wipes)

Forgot owl hooter, bottle of water, scotchbrite & sandpaper, straw out pf an orange sherbet pushup to usr as a suction yelper (try it it works)
WAY too much stuff! Of the calls I carry I usually end up using the same one most of the time!
My wife will tell you there has to be a kitchen sink in there somewhere.
Pot calls, box calls, crow call to annoy them, water bottle, TP, fire starter, chalk, scotch brite, sand paper, cell phone, rain pants and jacket, turkey shells and dead coyote shells along with a few grouse loads, leather man Juice X6 and a water purifier. Told you too much stuff but it is fun!
:fud: :newmascot:
3 extra shells, toilet paper and a whole bunch of other stuff. Enough to make my vest way to heavy!

All my mouth calls hang around my neck (2 Perfections, 1 Tom Teaser, and 1 I can't remember the name of)
I'm sure there's something I missed...
Things I have; Mostly crappy calls and the other usual.
Things I want; Brian Mero trumpet, and anything better than I have.
Nothing yet. Season starts in less than 2 weeks and I haven't even pulled it out yet
Well, let's see......

This year I am leaving the dekes at the house, so I am going to be a little bit lighter.
I am going to try something different this season. I am toting the Gobbler Lounger, Turkey Gun, a mouth call, the Crystal Freak, and a Lynch's World Champion box. Leaving the vest at home.
I am going to try it like this a couple mornings since these calls are what I generally use most. If I feel like I need more, I will drag out the vest and all the goodies!
I always carry my boresnake in mine along with everything else
peanut butter and jelly sandwich, donut, slim jim, coke, oh and your insulin.
I use to do the kitchen sink thing, but now days I just give my calls turns. Some one day some the other. I always try to go as light as possible and never do.
Hunting with flintlocks and recurves you'd think I wouldn't even use a turkey vest..but I'm not a Traditionalist or PC (period correct), I just like to hunt with flintlocks and recurves. However, to ease my conscious I sit on the ground and leave the seat cushion at home.
a box call, few mouth calls, pot call and some strikers, TP, my phone and wallet.
All the usual plus:
RUMP RIBBON!
One old lynch box, three pots (one ceramic, one slate over glass acrylic, one mahogany slate over glass) eleven strikers of various materials, about a dozen various diaphragms, two dekes plus stakes, shells, license, water bottle, granola bars, headlamp, spare batteries, digi camera, prunning shears, tree umbrella, toilet paper, phone, aerial or topo maps, facemask and gloves, spare facemask and gloves, orange cap, and wet wipes. I dont use half this crap but i hate being unprepared, funny how as season progresses and i run and gun more, the vest empties out rather quickly!
TP, small knife, compass, licenses, ink pen, extra rubber bands, extra red dot scope batteries, chalk, sandpaper, stone conditioner, crow call, glass call w/ 1 striker, box call, 4 mouth calls, jake decoy (maybe), 2 pair of gloves, 2 face masks, extra shotgun shell, bug spray, snack (Kashi bar and/or apple) and 2 bottles of water.
Just need a turkey to haul when coming out.
My vest is loaded with SHELLS of course, and I never leave to the woods without my HOOKS workin girl glass pot call. Bino, Lynch box call and some decoys and a bottle of water about rounds my vest out.
2 pot calls, strikers, box call (sometimes), owl and crow locators, various mouth calls, 2 pair of gloves, 2 mask, extra shells, chalk, sandpaper, toilet paper, a decoy (sometimes), and thermacell is what I carry in my vest.
