My Go to is a mouth call :icon_thumright:
My cody glass
Pop in a Woodhaven or Tom Teasers mouth call, take the safety off and get ready. :smiley-char092: Looking into trying some Hooks mouth calls this season.
I use a box, friction calls, and the mouth calls, depending on the situation. i.e. wind, rain, closeness of the bird, etc. But if I had to choose just one, it would be the friction call. Mike

Really depends on situation, how close a bird, and what he is responding to. I chose mouth call b/c I like it and am learning lots.
H.S. Slate Witch, hands down.
Friction call. Either K&H OlYeller or a HarmondenCalls Obsidian and my Black Locust striker.
At 100 yds I want something pretty soft. I don't want to scare him into the next county.
With out a doubt my go to call is a Hillbilly White Lightning mouth call! Followed by my Hillbilly cherry Aluminum pot call!

The longbox on the right is my personal call for this year. It's a goodun!
A mouth call is my go to but friction calls are VERY important to me also. I carry a box but don't use it nearly as much as I should probably.
Supreme Turkey Calls........ Strut Buster in walnut. It has been the demise of quite a few wary ol' gobblers.
I have a Supreme Strutbuster in walnut and cocabola and they both rock, I give the nod to the cocabola but my go to call is a Supreme Siren.
Love my Lights Out aluminum's. Just the pure quality of the sounds these make are why I use them more than my other calls.
The deadly cluck of a "good" push button is very hard to beat my fine feathered friends
My half moon box till he's close, then a diaphram. :z-paddy-smiley113:

ceramic call worked well for me last spring, called 21 to the gun.
Stumpy
I'm working hard to get into the custom calls....I actually have a few custom friction calls ordered and just waiting on them to show up so this may change after I try them.
But for now my go to call is a mouth call either a woodhaven or a knight & hale there my favorite. I've called in more gobblers with a mouth call then anything else.
A diaphram call leaves my hands free, but also a big fan of snuff cans because they sound realistic and you can put as much volume as ya want into it.
but pots are cool too, hard to beat a fight'n purr on a good pot call.
Mouth Call for me! :icon_thumright: :icon_thumright: :icon_thumright:
My cane creek box call reason being i seem to always have a dip in.
If not dipping its my mouth call.
Tough one, my go to is usually a Cody glass call, but depending on my mood and the temperature of the birds I might use a mouth call. My friction calls are like fine tools I use the best one for the job. I have a Cody world class slate coming, can't wait to play with it.
My Robert brothers glass call has came through so many times for me by cuttin on the glass to get his hens angry then flipping it over to the slate side to cluck purr the girls on in after they get good and mad bringin him in tow. But if he's hot and lonely it sure is fun to spit some cc smoker his way makes a fun hunt.
I voted mouth call because a Wingbone choice wasn't up............nobody on here hardly uses a Wingbone Yelper. Guess thats better for me because they don't hear many of them. :icon_thumright:

Same goes for the tube call!
my go to call is a fatal attraxion glass or slate call.
