Just a few shots to give some idea of 30 and 40 yard
Pellet counts and lead vs. HTL.

30 yard HTL

Note:  More pellets at 40 than the Kick's choke at 30
It is a different gun I concede.

I sure don't. I had a 555 IC at one time and moved on. The 555s are too tight for my hunting needs. But I do have a SSX 550 left in my Remington and it likes the H-13 #7s I know. I think I had a 147 at 40 in that last year.
