Title: Anticipation
Post by: Full Flight on March 09, 2012, 04:18:16 PM
OK I just got my vacation time approved for the middle of next month.  Headed to the Daniel Boon National Forest for 5 days of Turkey hunting.  I'm already excited and I've got 6 weeks to wait.  I think I'll go crazy by April.... Should be a good time.   Anyone have tips for hunting in this area?  It's a long way from my normal hunting ground in Michigan.

Spring woods...... This will be the second time I have run up and down those hills....Or should I say Just up as there never seems to be any downhill....Last year I called a few birds but did not get one.   Hopefully this year I can get one in range.....Thanks for the advice
