Post by: SKFOOTER on March 07, 2012, 10:22:40 PM
I read where Stinkpickle used these loads.   Does anyone else shoot these?  If so, what shotgun/choke combination do you use and how do they pattern??  Thanks. :OGturkeyhead:

Never shot the 7.5s but the 3.5/2/6s sure killed the $#!t outta some goobblers for me.  They patterned better than any pb load I have ever shot to btw.   :funnyturkey:

I have two boxes still but do not use them at present. I first shot them in a full choke 870 Wingmaster and then in a 665. They have a very well covered pattern and should with 600-700 pellets. I don't advise them for long distances such as 40 yards even though there are plenty of pellets the energy wanes and penetration is a consideration.

I have a box, but have never shot them. I always thought they were a bit small, but should pattern good.

I probably could've choked those shells down further than what I did, but the 40 yards patterns were plenty dense, as is.  I didn't care to push it any farther, because it would not have done me any good.  It dropped birds just fine at 40 yards (and perhaps a hair beyond), but that's not a shot I liked to take with 'em.
