Title: Beretta/Benelli w/ Jellyhead Choke?
Post by: campcreekfarm on March 07, 2012, 04:59:58 PM
Does anyone shoot a Benelli or Beretta with a Jellyhead .665 choke?  Was wondering what yall use and if they are very good chokes for these guns.  Planning on shooting heavy blends or 3" Nitros 4x5x7 out of either a Beretta 390 or SBE.  Thanks.

I just got in a Hevi choke(.671) and some 3.5 Hevi Shot 6's but I havn't got around to shooting it yet. I've heard good things about the Hevi-Chokes in the Beretta Extrema with the hevi shot.

If you are referring to the Mobil Choke Berettas/Benellis, I shoot the Jellyhead .655 and it patterns great in my SBE1 and my M1.

Yep, I think that is what it is called,  I have a SBE1 and an AL390 silver mallard.

I have shot both nitro and hevi 13 out of SBE with jelly head, was getting aprx 220 in 10 inch circle with nitro shells and a little less with hevi 13 2 oz #6, I found the understaker .655 worked best with hevi 13 2 oz #6

I patterned my SBE1 with the .655 Jellyhead and have been very happy.  310 with Hevishot 7's, 215 Magblend, 208 Hevishot 6's.  The SBE with the Jellyhead .655 shoots about everything well you put through it. Good luck with your decision.
