My son-in-law just bought a MB 535 Turkey Thug and some Nitro M517s. I called Nitro and they stated that they had not tested it yet but it would be fine to shoot in that gun with a IC .660 choke he had purchased. My question is has anyone tried this combination yet and what were the results. Do you think it's safe?
If Nitro said it is safe then it is safe. :icon_thumright:
I just finished shooting up some of the original shells for the 835 through my 535 last season. Never had a problem.
Fellows I have used Nitros now for 3 years and HAVE N OT had problem one with them yet !!!! I shoot them in my M2 20 and my SBE2 12 both in straight 7s , I love em !!
Thanks everyone for you help. He shot this gun yesterday and it shot a one hole pattern at 30 yards. I ask him to move back to 40 yards and see what happens. I am waiting to hear from him on the 40 yard pattern.
WOW...with that pattern I hope he's got a scope or red dot.

Yeah, he might want to open that up a bit. :o
I have already called him about it. I'm getting older like John Wayne said in Big Jake "my eyes are not that good anymore" I know I could not shoot that gun. That is why I shoot a Browning Gold 10 ga.
That tight at 30? Never seen a 30 yard pattern that tight
I have never seen one that tight either. I plan to test his gun and mine this weekend and will verify the pattern. I will also check it at 40 yards.
thats a tight pattern...should be able to hit him through a pine tree if need be
We definetly need more info and testing on this.... WOW with a scope that might be a killer all the way out to 60 yards sheesh I cant even see that far in RI lol
