I went for a ride last night to meet some new farmers. I talked to 6 land owners and got permission from 5 of them. This is farm land with big oak ridges and fields all around. I did see 3 flocks of birds. Grand total of 2635 acers of land for myself, wife, and mentor kid to hunt on. I still have to talk to the farmers where I hunted last year and one more guy. If I get all of that, I will have almost 4000 acers to hunt on!!! Every farmer said they have been seeing multiple groups of birds. Come on spring and melt this snow so I can burn some boot leather.
