I haven't used diaphragm calls very much but I am wanting to try to get better at it. From reading on here it seems that Hook's are the most popular and a sponsor. I am planing on ordering one and what like to know which one everyone prefers? I think I would want a soft call for up close. Any suggestion?
I like the executioner
+ 1 for the executioner
The Eradicator and The Enforcer.
Thanks for all of the input.
Enforcer
ive been very partial to the devastator, but the new enforcer may be my new go to call.
The devastator and the 2 1/2 v cut are my go to calls.
Both are good and raspy.
I like the sassy gal 2 and the executioner 2.
Call Scott and tell him what you are looking for and he will set you up.
Hard to go wrong with any. Call Scott and will run them on the phone for you.

x2....I've prob ran 10 diff models and they ALL have turkey in em!
Which would be an easy one to learn?
Executioner II and Eradicator for me.
Hands down....Executioner 2 :z-guntootsmiley:
I'm not a master of the mouth call, but their ghost cut has been the easiest for me to use
I ordered several last year. They seemed to be small for my big mouth, haha. Seriously, they seemed very small to me and I couldn't do anything with them.

Did you order the "Jr" frame of standard frame? If it was the "Jr" frame then that would explain a lot as they are geared toward those with a narrow upper palette such as myself. If it was a standard frame then it's probably because of the smaller tape they put on em. If the tape is too small just ask for large tape next time. Whatever you do, don't give up on Hooks calls. They are as good as you'll find anywhere!
#1Executioner 2
#2Executioner
#3Shockwave

Dang! I don't think I ordered the junior. I ordered some from david halloran at the same time and the hooks were just too small. David's were great. Maybe I will look at the website, but I actually threw all of em away.
I just went to there website. I'm fairly certain I ordered the champion's pack. Didn't realize I could ask them to use bigger tape. Oh well.
The Executioner that I bought at the convention needs more tape...keeps flopping around in my mouth like a bad pair of dentures... ;D
