Title: Steady grip recoil pad?
Post by: K9Doc on March 01, 2012, 11:28:39 PM
The recoil pad on the Benelli Steady Grip is horrible.  Does anyone make an aftermarket replacement for the SBE2 Steady grip?  It has no holes, it pops on and off.
Does the M2 Tactical have the same pad?

My SteadyGrip on my M1 has holes. I recently put a Limbsaver pad on it, and it made a World of difference. The model number for this pad is 10112. They make a bracket to fit press in stocks like the Comfortech models. Give them a call and they will hook you up.

I need to grab one for it. May pick one up today. Is the part number for the SBE2 the same as the one for the M1?

I 2nd that !

I put a cheapie slip-on pad on mine for the time being until I can find something better.

Curious to know if the 10112 will work on the SBE S/Grip stock.

I put a Limbsaver on my 935 and it made a big difference, especially with the 2 1/4 oz loads.

My advice is to print the recoil pad templates off from Limbsaver's website and match the bare end of your Steadi-Grip stock with the one that fits the best.  I did that with my M1 Steadi-Grip stock and found one that fit perfectly.  I only had to re-drill one of the screw holes to make it fit.
