Title: Just wondering.

If anyone has used a good automotive wax or wheel polish in their barrel after a deep clean and polish, looks like it would really slick it up, kinda like the paint on a vehicle after a good wash and wax, or would it do more damage than good.

That's the key to getting the optimum pattern from your barrel.  I used that on my 835 a couple of years ago.   And it's shooting better than ever.  I did the chamber too.  But I polished the hell out of mine and concentrated most of my effort 2 to 5" above the chamber.  I go real slow with my brush at a turtle pace.  I figure that's the key to getting a polished barrel.

I finished with this stuff after using the JB Bore Brite and Kroil.
