Ive went hog wild on 3d shooting since december and I swear its so addicting. We usually go to 2 shoots every weekend as long as there within a 2 hour drive. Planning on hitting some of the big shoots over the summer like london, ky, ect. Done told my shooting buddies though in a few weeks yall will think I have died till the end of may lol.
Where at in sw va are you bear creek is shooting indoor every Saturday night in Norton and then there is the new indoor 3d and dot range here in Kingsport Tn shady lane usually shoots the weekend before the ASA shoots there are a tone of ranges around here in east Tn and sw Va if you need info let me know
I love to shoot the courses but there aren't too many here in N.J. I don't take the range shooting as serious as most of the 3D..ers. (score keeping non existant) It's a great way to get ready for the season and spend time with family and friends. It is alot of fun for sure,I can't wait for some warmer weather to break out the archery gear.
I seldom shoot in any comps, but I try to get out to shoot some 3D every 2-3 weeks. I'm fortunate that there is such a good facility about 45 minutes away (and just down the road from Cabela's, so it's a two-fer trip)
I take my buddy and my daughter, we always have a really good time.
They just had the first leg of the IBO 5 miles from my house 2 weeks ago. This weekend they are shooting the Reinhardt 100.

Im near abingdon. Weve been shooting shadey, adwolf, sage, fries, foggy and west jefferson. I also go to Kris Kustom archery every now and then to shoot a round of indoor 3d if its to bad to shoot outdoors. Planning on going to London, ky, sherwood for the qualifier so I can shoot in pennsylvania, and a few out near staunton. We may shoot the r100 in virginia but unsure yet cause thats the week before Ky. Where abouts are you?
I do and love it. Mostly shoot longbows now, but have shot asa for years in the past. Lots if fun to be had and shooting traditional now adds another degree and even more good times. Headed to Florida this weekend to a big state shoot with the longbow. Tons of fun. Everyone should give it a go. Good practice
I'm in Kingsport

I loved shooting. I used to shoot with a buddy of mine when I was in high school.
A lot of the local clubs have folded so I don't have anywhere close to go to shoot. I would love to get back into it.
