Don't you mean the Danika 500?A buddy of mine drives in the Nationwide series, he is a good driver with limited funds,no cup backing. He was talking about not getting any tv time,I told him to find Danika, stay on her front or rear bumper and you will get all the tv time you want.
How long before she puts another one of her cars in the wall this weekend lol She been rough on them already this weekend lol
This is killin' me,but Florida does need some rain...at least the west coast and north just not today.
Looks like they're trying to dry the track! Just might need the lights LOL.

I think the problem is he does run like he used to.Seems like they have a tough time kicking it up a notch when everybody else does.Happy to see the 2 car drafting go away, thats for sure.
Yeah, the 2 car draft thing was kinda stupid. I just thing they try to hard on the changes. Its racing let'em run like they did in the 80's. Ole Bill Elliott was airing it out back then LOL!!

Dr.Redarrow thinks you should stay home and get some rest tomorrow. We don't want you spreading that "BIRD" flu around the workplace.
Wasn't it 1994 that Bill Elliot ran an unofficial lap of 211mph at Daytona.

It was back in 1987 in Dega'. He also made up several laps{3-4 I think}to come back and win at Talladega once. That 9 car was on rails back then.I like the story Bill France told when Ernie and Bill showed up at Daytona from Dawsonville Ga.He said they got a copy of the rulebook and built a racecar, simple as that.
Just heard it is a 70-80% chance of rain today!!!!
I need my Racing Fix!!!!

Gentleman the radar still isn't looking good.they call us down here the Sunshine state which is comical since I need to watch this race. :angry9:
7PM it is
FOX just stated that the race is scheduled for 7pm eastern tonight.
I feel bad about the race being called off. I gave away 24 tickets to our employees so they could go to the race Sunday. They had to drive a good two hours to get there. Felt bad about giving out the tickets and having them make the trip to the track and getting rained out.
At least I will be home to see it!!!! :z-guntootsmiley:
Under the lights it is
