Man it has been a while since I have had time to post on the site. Glad to see most of the regulars still here, and a bunch of new folks. It's been a very busy year. The short version is we moved from Missouri, land of 500K turkeys, to Washington State, land of 50K turkeys. WHAT WAS I THINKING? :o
Actually, it is beautiful up here, and the move was all a God thing, so life is good. The problem is I have NO idea where to start finding a turkey. I guess the NE corner of the state, but people mention seeing birds here, or seeing birds there, and the places mean nothing to me. It is funny, turkey hunting is no big deal here. Seems like hardly anyone hunts them, at least compared to mighty MO. I will try to keep you guys posted on what I find. If anyone has any suggestions shot me a PM.
Glad to be back.
Chad
Good to see you back, and good luck this season!!!
Where in Washington did you move to Chad, my sister just moved from Wenatchee on the east side of the mountains
PM Nitro. He owns land in Washington state. He goes out there every year and kills his Merriams. He may give you a few hints.
Give me a PM I live in WA state and hunt eastern WA for turkeys.

We are on the West side, just barely. We live in the Enumclaw area, up on Mt. Ranier. Where did your sister move to?

Sent you a PM Mossy.
When I was stationed in washington. I turkey hunted in Klickitat County near Goldendale. I think thats the name. There a good number of merriams there.
WA has some good scenery and territory in the eastern half to hunt period. Turkey hunting is not as big a deal, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.
