Title: Tips for wingbone/trumpet????
Post by: Trevor2 on February 24, 2012, 12:09:26 PM
My cousin won the wingbone yelper pappy made for the bingo drawing last easter. But for the life of us neither of us can make a wingbone work lol. We just cant make it sound like it needs to. When I run one it sounds more like a turkey being raped or something. Any tips for new wingbone callers?

Trevor, I noticed in another thread that you were in Morgan County. I am in Knoxville and would be glad to help you if you come out this way.

I takes very little air to get the sound right. I have found the best tone comes with very light lip pressure, very little air, and relaxed lips and jaws.
