Title: Gobbling off the roost in Central Florida
Post by: fiveyear on February 24, 2012, 08:49:37 AM
I listened to Gobblers gobbling off the roost from just before sundown until an hour after dark last night.  They were back at it at 5AM Gobbling off the roost all the way until sunrise this morning.

They have been out and strutting lately in central Florida , we had a cold snap a week ago and it cooled things off , but they are at it right now with the gobbling -The hens and gobblers flocked up but soon the fighting will occur and the Gobblers will break up and strike off on their own -

When it gets hot enough to get you sweaty 80 deg. foe about a week

2nd week In February  in some parts is when the Osceolas start to go nuts with the gobbling it will be heavy action come opening weekend central - south zone goblers are hammering right now --Shannon
