Title: What are good numbers for lead 20 Ga?
Post by: Kylongspur88 on February 23, 2012, 06:56:44 PM
What do you all consider good numbers for lead 20 at 30 yards? Shot a few loads today. The old federal 1.25 #6's did 135, The winn 1.25 #5's did 118. Just wondering?

I get mid 120's at 30 yds with my 870/jellhead combo.shoot the remington premier 3" 1 1/4 #6.If you are getting the #'s you posted at 30 then i'd say your right there.some guys may get more but you could do a whole lot worse.

Thanks. I don't want a long range thumper, just something that the youth can use and the fiance'.
