Its hitting a little left. But I can fix that. 3in magnum blends 40 yrds H.S strut (http://i1105.photobucket.com/albums/h351/timberjack86/1329948516.jpg)choke.(http://i1105.photobucket.com/albums/h351/timberjack86/1329953657.jpg)(http://i1105.photobucket.com/albums/h351/timberjack86/1329948514.jpg)
Good looking gun ya got there. Get that pattern fixed and you will be ready.
Congrats! I also use a Mossberg 835 and love it and it's patterns. If you don't go to a red dot, I really like the Williams Firesights for correcting poi issues. That's a good dense pattern. What HS choke?
That should work! Good looking gun and looks like the big brother to mine.
Even IF it were hitting correct POA I'd still go with a sight like a FF2 or similar because that removes the temptation to raise your head and shoot over his head in the excitement of the situation. That was always the reason it happened to me if I missed in my pre red dot days.
I agree with the above statement. A red dot really helps in that respect. There have been more than a few times that with the way the bird came in, it would have been impossible to get in a perfectly aligned shooting position without spooking the bird and luckily I had the dot on there.
Yep, left handed, right handed, both eyes open, one eye open, laying down, standing on your head, doesn't matter...if you can see the dot and it is on his head he is going down! :)
New gun
+ New Season
