Activ was acquired by the Kent Cartridge Company and as far as I know the old active loads are not being used in the Kent shells.  Shame too.

I have about 1,000 Activ hulls that I still shoot and reload.      It's amazing how many reloads those shells are capable of without showing any signs of wear or fatigue.

I wish Kent Cartridge would bring them (Activ hulls) back as either loaded shotshells or even as a component.

Yup, I shot Activ nickel plated 4's out of a browning citori for years and it was business. The only problem I saw with those shells was the entire casing was plastic and the edges of casing would get worn out in the pumps and automatics. Killed allot of turkeys with their 4x6's.
