Title: Still on the road
Post by: shootumindaface on February 21, 2011, 02:33:08 PM
Made it all the way from Indy to FtWayne today... Have not seen ice like this in a long time.. Kept watching the temp drop and the rain turn hard.. Shacked up in Ft Wayne for the night..

At least an inch of solid ice on the road.. Shacked up after seeing numerous accidents and cars in the ditch.. We were doing 30 and that was fine, but some IDIOTS think they can still run 70...

Not worth dying over

Be careful and take your time, some people think their vehicles drive different on ice. LOL CRAZY. God bless.

Look out for the other guys Tom!  You can be the best winter conditions driver in the world and it only takes one of those idiots you mentioned to ruin it for ya.

Man that sounds nasty - glad you made it safely. Northern Indiana can get pretty ugly in the winter with all the lake effect stuff. I work in Indy and the roads haven't been bad at all this week (at least where I'm driving). Is spring here yet??????
