I have a 20ga. 1187 Premier that I'm setting up for the wife to use for her 1st turkey hunt. Looking for ideas on camoing the gun without hurting the finish of the gun. As of right now I camo gun sock on it that cut holes in for the action and trigger. I'm not real impressed iwth it, because it is now loose around the action(wondering if it will move and get caight in the action) and on the stock. I have looked at the camo tapes / wraps and I'm leaning towards the McNett wrap. The reviews are good, but just wondering what you folks are using short of painting, replacing the stock & forearm or having the gun dipped. I know my choices are limited, but wondering if I might be missing something.
Thanks in advance.
Have you seen the Mossy Oak Graphics? Its like a vinyl wrap you apply with heat. I have been researching it and everything looks positive.
Nope, haven't seen it. Have you tried it or just looking into it? Do you have a link to it?
I was looking into it, but bought a 870 already covered in bottomland.
So didn't need to go that route.
