Title: Turkey Call Amplifier
Post by: TRKYHTR on February 17, 2012, 12:59:31 PM
Here is a video clip of a product I am making now. Thanks to Mark Cunningham for his idea of this product. I think it works great. You be the judge. Scot Wilhelm used this amplifier to win the GNCC gobbling contest.

The mouth call I am yelping on is my X-Terminator. The call I am gobbling on is a 3 reed red over green I made.

Thanks for the shout out!

I was very happy with how the amplifier turned out. Joe did a great job as usual!

Here are three prototypes Joe built. Each gives the call a little different sound.

(L) All corian (M) Corian/Cherry (R) Corian/Walnut

Heard Joe run calls with this thing in Nashville. It is awesome! His purrs are turkey anyway, but through that tube it makes me wanna drum! The gobbles are wicked. Check out his performance in the gobbling contest on Simpzenith (Shane Simpson)'s post here as well as his fb page. Joe sounded like a gobbler I would chase all Spring!
