Neat idea for a thread, should get some very interesting replies.
My first wasn't all that long ago, just in 2005. I'd been tagging along with my father for years, missed one in 2004. He called this beauty in for me.

Now I get to Brag. The first bird I ever shot was back in 1969. I know you asked for the last bird I shot but these 5 were all taken last spring giving me a Single Season Royal Slam and all birds were taken within the United States.

This thread got me thinking and digging through pictures. I finally found a polaroid of my first bird, I'll see if I can figure out how to work the scanner (or just wait for the wife to do it) and post it up.

Here are my pics. My first was an eastern from the farm in MO in 1998. The latest was a nice Rio from western OK. It looks like heck because it rolled down a hill into a ditch after I shot it. There was much less of me 15 years ago!

As sad as it sounds, I dont know where I'd find the first one I killed but that picture is one I'd like to have. I remember my dad getting it on video of me trying to carry it out (I was 6) and the turkey about looking bigger than I was. Seeing all these makes me wish I did have that thing or at least know where I could find it.
This is the last bird I killed last season....not the last bird I shot at, but the last one that I killed. Ending the season with a miss just eats at you for 12 months.

My first turkey was taken in 2010 with my cousin and dad! My cousin and I killed these birds 15 minutes & about 75 yards apart! The cool thing about it was that the birds were nearly identical! Needless to say, it was one of the best experiences ever and with my 2 favorite hunting buddies ;D
