Title: New Opinions
Post by: eaglea1 on February 13, 2012, 01:52:32 PM
Ok, bear with a newbie here, but let me ask this please.
Thinking of going with this setup this year, and please critique me.

New Remington (81061) SPS Mag all in green camo, with Vortex Strikefire, and
a Primos Jellyhead .665, using Hevi 13's  ??  :-\

6'S OR 7'S will work best with the hevi-13

Thanks guys, what about the rest of the equipment?  On another note,
where is everyone picking up their Ithaca Turkeyslayers? My son is interested
in getting one this year.

I'm an clamp on iron sights guy, so can't really give you an opinion with the scope. I know when I tried one I hated it on the turkey gun.

Ithaca makes a fine weapon they are on the heavy side. Love my slug gun.

I'd go with the Jellyhead .660 instead of the .665 if you're gonna shoot the 7's.

I'd go with the .660 instead with any load smaller than #4's  :toothy9:

My gun with the JH likes the 6s and 7s.
