Title: Browning Maxus Choke and Shell!? (Heavy 13/Winchester Extended Range)!!!
Post by: ckhawkeye51 on February 13, 2012, 09:37:07 AM
Hey all first post here!  I got a Browning Maxus last fall for waterfowl and I would like to use it for turkey as well. I guess I have a few questions....does anyone know what the constriction is for the Invector Plus Full Choke that comes with the gun? I would like to get a turkey choke for the gun, what chokes shoot the best out of the gun? I am looking at shooting Heav Shot 13 or Winchester Extended Range. I have seen that some people shout the 3 inch 2 oz. 6 shot? Why that over the 3 1/2 inch Heavy shot? Sorry for the loaded question but i'm sure there will be a lot of helpful information! Thanks for the help!

Corey

By the way...the barrel is  28 inches and is a 3 1/2 inch chambered gun!

I shoot 3" in my 3.5 SX3 with a .665 Indian Creek and it averaged 223 hits at 40 with Hevi MagBlend 5x6x7
