I've been using a neoprene backed sling for several years now and it is ok but still slips on my shoulder quite often. Do you guys have any recommendations for a good sling that doesnt slip? It's one of those little things that bugs the fire out of me.
The Claw
X 2 on the Claw. Its actuall kinda aggrevating sometimes it holds so well...........
The Claw X3
Quake Claw X4
X 5 the CLAW..
X6 the Claw!!!!
I can't believe no one has mentioned the claw yet! ;)
So I guess you guys are saying The Claw is the way to go. Guess I need to shop around to see where I can find The Claw. I imagine it would be good for those heavy barreled muzzle loaders that try to invert themselves too.
The claw is the only sling on my guns. You will not find any that are better. It will stick where it is put..
Another vote for the Claw! :icon_thumright:
One more vote for the claw
I have one i like called the claw or something like that :z-winnersmiley:
Da Klaw
I tried the claw and found it to be uncomfortable so now I use the Avery Finisher sling. They are flexible, non slip and very comfortable.
vero vellini slings, a little more $ but i bought about 10 of them last year. the only one i will use for any gun i haul around
'nother Claw vote here :icon_thumright:
sign me up for a claw as well
Another vote for the claw.
Claw for me also
I'm gonna buck the trend & go with The Claw! :goofball:
After buying my first Claw last year, I won't be spending money on another kind of sling for a long time. I love it. The thing I don't like about neoprene slings is that my gun tends to bounce as the neoprene stretches making it feel heavier than it is.
Just picked up a sling at Harrisburg made by limbsaver. Looks identical to the claw, but adds a rubber handle below the shoulder piece. 10 bucks, I couldn't pass it up.
CLAW :icon_thumright: :newmascot:
Count me in with.....are you ready.....drum roll please.....The Claw
LOL I always just used what was cheap like a nylon strap adjustable with one hand but i know the feeling of one sliding off your shoulder i have dealt with this for several years so i might have to get the claw.I have held them in my hand looking at one before but always put it back.

IMO a Butler Creek neoprene sling is hard to beat if you walk a good bit like I do, average 4-6 miles a day in turkey season.
:agreed:
I use a sling that I am surprised no one here has mentioned yet, it is made here in the USA and has a lifetime guarantee!

If you think the claw rides your shoulder then you really need to try one of these!
The Claw for me too! Will not buy any other type until its proven to me that there is one better.

I have both the claw and the Ultraflex from Slogan, the Ultraflex wins hands down! The only way you will know that there is one better is to try it!

Absolutely! Best sling out there, I just picked up another in Nashville Sunday. I'll guarantee you'll like it.

I have the claw and the Ultraflex as well. To me--the Ultrafelx is much much better.
Good thread. I've cussed out my sling for years. Didn't know there was one out there that didn't keep sliding off your shoulder. I'll be looking up the Claw. :icon_thumright:
