Ok I know the silver is a star dot, but the black one is identical except is missing 3 port drillings. Any ideas?

Maybe a Preston Pittman tube??

Thought about that but thought they were identical to star dot.

Could be a stardot, just might have not got all the ports drilled in it.

Were star dots all made in black? Or some silver like this one?

Old Pittman's only have ports on one side? Any pics to compare? Do they throw good patterns?
