Title: political turmoil in wisconsin
Post by: scoot12 on February 20, 2011, 07:49:31 PM
Our governor Scott Walker wants to get rid of the public employees unions.  This has made national news.  My wife and I went to Madison and walked around the capitol to support our union.  We are both custodians at a local school district.  There was about 60,000 people there.  It was very powerful and I felt good to be there for our public servants.  Firefighters, police officers, nurses, teachers and snow plow drivers where there in full force.  It was incedible.  Scoot

For some reason, most hunters think that if they are not Republicans that they will lose their guns. What they most likely will lose voting for Republicans is their wages, benefits, worker rights and Middle Class status. When the politicians and business executives start lowering their pay and benefits then I might think it is OK for the rest of us.Until then,I say to hell with them.

Yeah==everybody knows it's really the Democrats that support our hunting heritage and the right to keep and bear arms. Also, the myth that Democrats tend to be more socialist and have a liberal slant is just a bunch of media hype.  Why any gun owing, conservative hunter would vote Republican is a mystery to me--even more so for you religious types.

It's already started in Ohio too. Looks like it will hit about all the states this year.
