Thanks for the reminder---just set my DVR!!
Thanks for the reminder. My wife enjoys that one as much as I do.
Preview says Liz gets her own boat. Hope to see a few gators get whacked tonight!
I'm watching last years finally as I type this.
Saw RJ and his son last weekend at the show. Them boys sat in those chairs from start time til close time (9-7) signing pictures and shirts. My hats off to them. I didnt even see them get up to take a bathroom break.
Guess Troy made a little money last year or worked something out with Mercury. 2 shiny new 115 Pro XS'
T-ROY was already loaded, long before Swamp People, but he worked for it.
Great show we watch it out here.
Once again Troy gets the bigger gators. It is amazing at the size difference in his gators compared to the other hunters, on average. Liz did get her a monster!
Shootem shootem !!!!!!!!! I love it.
I notice Joe and Tommy's gators seem to run on the smaller size.I hunt the Mississippi river and the water this past duck season down there was 47 degrees as it spreaded across the marsh.gators I'm pretty sure in that area may have a little shorter growing season.

My mistake..forgot gators are warm blooded. ;)
in November water temperatures drop below 70 degrees and gators go into hibernation until early spring when the water warms up again.

wonder how long RJ has been working on that ponytail?
Looks like that took some time.after watching him last night,he's blessed to have a head.
Was it just me or did it seem they tried to cuss as much as possible , especially the women? Now believe you me my ears have heard it before, (Army, Oil field, Football locker room, and so on), but I could have done without some of the unnecessary ugly words.
I noticed the cursing factor was upped just a little. Maybe they toned it down in the first few seasons and are getting back to their cajun lingo. You never know, maybe the producers encouraged them to do it.
Didn't bother me, but then again I am from La.
if i'm in some of the situations they are, i can only imagine the words id be using
My best friends little brother works with the filming of Swamp People. People believe me this stuff is souped up and dramatized for tv. I like the show but sometimes its far from the truth........
like :TrainWreck1: the turkey hunt troy went on last year!!
That was a game farm turkey if ever there was one.
lol..just started watching the show this year...its halarious

:agreed: thats just how it is!
I'm from South Louisiana and I can't stand the show to be real honest. I'll admit, it was kind of interesting and entertaining at first, but they really put on too much of a production. After the "Thanksgiving Turkey Hunt for Mama" I quit watching it. They make it look like we all "LIV ON DA' BAH-YOU" and "GOTS TA GO AVERY-WHARE IN OWAH PEE-ROGUES". They've taken it wayyyyyy too far.... I guess as long as ratings are up, that's all that matters. Sorry if I sound like a stick in the mud. For the record, I do own a 12ft pirogue though... ;)
I believe most true swampers would concur with you Longspur.
Right out of college 18 yrs ago I went To work with usgs south of ten in achafalaya. Lived around alot of swampers. Definetely alot of drama added.
my wife and I enjoy the show, yeah there is some drama in it,but it sure beats the ---- out of most of the crap on tv these days
One of my favorite shows on tv! CHOOT 'EM!! :z-guntootsmiley:
