There are a few companies offering Do-it-yourself camo gun hydro-dipping kits. Has anyone here dipped their own turkey shotgun? What are your thoughts and impressions on the quality of the materials, the technique and the final product?
Also, please post pictures of your work.
Cheers ;D

I've not dipped any shotguns but did dip my .50 Beowulf. It's finicky but not too bad once you get everything right. Water has to be the exact temp. Was'nt to difficult. Turned out pretty good.
Another alternative to dipping is the mossy oak gun skins. I just got done doing my 870 and Benelli SBE. Looks great and is much easier and cheaper. It would be hard to do an ar15 with it but a shotgun is pretty easy.

My old 11-87 needs a new skin too. What is best? I found one site that applies a combination of Cerakote and then the Camo dipping process. What is most durable?
