Title: Sumtoy Customs
Post by: ccleroy on February 09, 2012, 01:35:48 PM
I just wanted to give a thumbs up to William at Sumtoy for building me a fine choke for my new SBE1, he told me over the phone that a .650 shooting my loads ( 3.5" Win ER 6's ) would make a great combo. I'm not a big number counter on paper and all I care about is it throwing good killing patterns. And that it does well. Thanks William for a superb choke at a great price.

I am thinking very seriously about getting one from him for my 870 20 ga compact that my grandfather is using.

yup, great guy and great choke. Got the same choke in my Stoeger and puts out a nasty pattern with 7's and magblends.

That's the best choke I've run in my 20 with Hevi 7's.

Just got me a .675 for my 835. Pretty pumped to try it out. Great company, and a great man to deal with! :icon_thumright:

Have to agree. My barrel gets back Monday, had him lengthen the forcing cone and he tested the different chokes for me to get the best pattern. Shot a 258 with 7s. All for what some pay for just a choke! Great to talk to on the phone and deal with. Highly recommend.

--edit - Should have mentioned, the 258 was with a 20" barrel! The pattern is very even as this is a hunting gun -NOT- a paper gun.
