Last year I noticed buffer leaking out of some of my Hevi 13's. I read somewhere that you could put regular emlers glue on them to stop this, so I did but I haven't shot any of the shells with the glue on them. When I do, will the glue melt and then stick all inside my barrel or is this a legitimate fix?? Thanks!
I'd rather clean the barrel than worry about buffer and shot leaking out of the shell. Go to the reloading section here and watch GOLD HUNTER's video. He just posted it yesterday.

I've never had to put glue on any Hevi shells, but I have put them on some Nitro shells. Never noticed any difference when cleaning the gun.
I use a drop of candle wax
I've had to use caulking on the nitro shells but I'm shooting hevi's now and no problems.
Just got my order in and had more of the buffer in the box then in the shells.
Hevi has had this problem for years and I guess they still haven't fixed it. Reason I quit buying them, especially for 20+ dollars a box. I'd rather shoot win hv lead for 12 a box and know my crimp isn't going to break just my opinion though.
Here is the thread from last year when I ordered my last box of hevi 13.
