Would like to take the barrel of of my 835 to do a deep cleaning before the season. Is there anything special I need to know or does it come off like any other pump gun?

Should come right off like normal.

Thanks Tom, would like polish it but don't think I'm ready for that right now. Will try a deep cleaning first.

Just what Tom said. Unscrew the end cap, and pull the barrel off.
