Alright Team Strut Stoppers, we have less than 6 weeks to go and some of us will be hunting.
Shannon, O.G., told me to make sure we all knew how to score/measure a bird.
1. Does anyone not know how to post a picture? You can practice by posting a picture of your gun in the lets see your turkey killers thread.
2. Read the rules.
3. Know how to take good pictures. It is always better if you can have someone else take the pictures of you and your Tom.
4. wmahunter made up a scoresheet, it is in the Gobblermatic scoring calculator thread. Print one out and take it with you to the woods, if your not superstitious. You can include a picture of you and your turkey with the scoresheet.
4. Make sure you get the pictures with the tape measure and at least one with the turkey on a scale.
( some of the turkeys scored get disqualified for not being clear enough)
Any other ideas please reply to this thread. Thanks John
Also, take good clear pics of measuring the beard and the spurs. For the weight, I use a digital scale from Berkley, bought from fishing department from Wally World.
