Title: Run and Gun Turkey Belt
Post by: Gobble! on February 20, 2011, 02:26:31 PM
I'm starting to consider purchasing this run and gun style belt. Has anyone used it before? Will it securly hold your calls? I just don't want to lose a striker or box call because the belt has cheap pockets. If it has enough pockets for a slate call, striker, box call, shells, and maybe 1 locator call I would be happy.

Here's the one I use and I prefer it to a vest.  Everything is secure and safe!!

I use the speed seat from cabelas and it works great. I carry my box, two pot calls with 3 strikers, locator calls and mouth calls in it and still have room for a bottle of water.

The Run and Gun belt is incredible.. I don't think I could go to anything else.. I added the additional slate holder they sell for the other side.

It has the best slate holders I have seen and on the additional slate holder the striker holder is the most secure I have found..

The only drawback is the seat, but I dont sit long enough to worry..

They had them on their site for 20bucks a while back and their facility caught on fire.

I absolutely love mine!!! :love5:  The only things I added were an extra pouch to stick a water bottle in, and an extra pouch to carry my extra junk. Its one of the best turkey hunting purchases I've made!

That looks like what I need!  Do you think you could fit a light coat in one of the pockets?  Usually cool here the first couple of hours.
