What 10/40 numbers are you getting using Fed HW 7s out of your Remingtons?
average about 175 with a ssx 550.and a very even 20.1187 with 26 inch barrel.
168 with an IC .555
This is pretty interesting! I have always heard that the fed hw's do better with more open turkey chokes.
I honestly don't want to come across like I am high jacking this thread, but what kind of counts do you think one could get with a .575 choke constriction? (40 points of constriction?)
Rem 1100 RSF ported 140's w/Federal 7's, 180's w/Hevi 7's low 200's w/Nitro 7's

Was shooting my Charles Daly 20 pump with a RSF choke, and was averaging mid 170s at 40 yds, and mid 120s at 50 yds.
How long is the barrel?
im getting 170's in my charles daly with the remington super full. 21" barrel.
Im curious.....who has polished their barrel and who hasnt....I guess what Im getting at
is the guys around 140 to 150 stock and the guys hitting 170 polished?
I haven't polished mine. I just run a bore snake to clean it.

I got mine off of gunbroker for $15. You can still see them on there from time to time, but they don't last long.
