Hope all team members are having a great weekend. Maybe yall are out scouting, patterning or something off that nature. I'll be out checking cams and scouting around tuesday of next week, hopefully the turkeys have found my feed by now. Anyways just wanted to wish everyone a good sunday and don't be getting hammered tonight watching the super bowl and then trying to drive home. The winter down here hasn't been bad either. I haven't bought near the amount of propane to heat my house that I normally buy each winter. I just hope the bugs aren't bad as a result of this weak winter. If it stays like this down here the turkey hunting oughta be great opening weekend.
I was meaning to tell you (m,yingling) that I've got that copper pot ready to rock. It took me a day or two to get used to running but Ive found it's sweet spot and that baby is 100% turkey. Thanks again
Watching the super bowl at home right now. Like M,Yingling said morning comes early for me too. The winter has been mild here in VA as well. Should make for a good spring season round these parts.
Watched the game last night with some members of my Sunday School class. The men of the class got together before the game and are starting a study on a book called "Point Man." I left at the beginning of the 4th cause I am not really all that interested in pro ball and 6:15 am comes too early for me too. Had a good time. Did some patterning on Saturday afternoon. I will post the results I have so far a little later this afternoon. Hope everyone had a great weekend also!
I took my son and his friend of his to shoot .22's Saturday and do a little fishing. Just when the reds started to crank up, the weather forced us to leave. Went back yesterday to try and shoot a few bunnies, but struck out. We hadn't had many rabbits since Katrina and Rita. I guess I'll have to find a spot further south to hunt them, but I hate having to go in the boat to rabbit hunt.
It was a good game last night. Glad Eli got another ring.
