Title: nef 20 with 3" mod. barrell

hey guys i was thinking of taking the wife on her first hunt to let her give it a try.i have a nef 20 with the 3" mod. barrel.was looking for shell suggestions or do y'all think it wouldn't be worth fooling with.don't want to really spend a bunch of money on new gun and shells until i know she will like it.any info would be greatly appreciated.

You can thread the barrel  and lengthen the forcing cone on it.   Now if I was not going to do anything to it for now I would get the federal fcw shell to shoot.  7's should be ok

My wife has the same gun & choke combo; two loads that worked really well for her were.....

you need to try the Federal FC lead or HTL shells
you will be surprised at what they will do in that modified choke
