Did any of you guys go to Nationals this weekend? Lets hear the good and the bad, and pictures are welcome as well
I planned on going but backed out at the last minute.
I have never been there, would like to go someday. Scoot
Does anyone know how Scott did?
Didn't near anything about Scott but Jeff McKamey (JMCK) got a First and rookie of the year, Brian Aliff (BKA) took two firsts, and the Shoemakers also did well.
I don't know how well I did?
Here is the list of all the winners.

I got there Friday morning at 10:00 and stayed thru Saturday afternoon.
Always great to be around all this stuff. Great people and great calls. A few of us had an early Sat breakfast and were joined by Lamar Williams and his son Justin.
watched the team calling contest which was impressive
Saw several folks from a couple other forums
I worked the Remington booth as a Mossy Oak Pro Staffer for a few hours Sat and left around 2:30
It was wall to wall people with more flooding in as I left
Friday was great and you could manuvure around....heard Sunday morning was good to
wouldn't surprise me if there were 50k people in attendance over the 3 day period
bought a few calls....mostly a second of others I already have as back ups
I got there thurs. evening and left Sun. Morning. It was a pretty good time. I was able to get to most of the calling contests. I had some friends who were calling.
I ran into Bo Parks in the exibit hall, great guy!
Bought some calls & decoys.
I recommend everyone to go at least once.
Clint
Clint it was a pleasure to meet you there.
Cost me a few dollars before I got away from the booth. we were at
I actually bought a duplicate / back up of what I already have and an alumimum version as well.
Glad it worked out where we ran into each other
Bobby
Never been. May have to go next year. I will try to get some strikers made up before I go. ;D
Yeah everbody should get there at least once to see the whole show, and everything that goes on there.

Found out today that my Canary over Maple box call set was put in the Grand National Call Raffle with Gary Anderson, Scott Bashmore, and Mike Lapps calls. My two pot calls didn't make the Cut, but my other Gibson / Turpin set did, so I finished some where between 7th and 14th place?
There are 7 judges that play all the calls, after all are played each judge picks two calls they liked. Only those 14 calls are scored for the awards. So I was happy at least making the Cut, and next year now that I know a little more about it, hopefully do better.
