can anyone direct me to best place to purchase a new 870 20ga barrel? daughters rig has 18.5in barrel. would like to get longer barrel for myself and hopefully improve her patterns.

try giving remington a call. there parts store online does not have near as much as it use to.

If your daughter's gun is the new style express that uses the ratchet type magazine plug and cap to hold the cap on I have a 26" vent rib one that is almost like new we could probably work out a pretty favorable deal for you for.
