Title: ventilator chokes

anybody have any experience with these tubes,,found a new one in my cabinet i guess i bought years back and forgot about,,,,

Give it a go with Win HV #6s or the old white H-13 #6s.

It is listed as a lead only choke and it is extremely tight. Therefore there are some shells that like to be choked really tight and they will in general do better in this choke. If I had to choose between that and TrugloSSX I would take the latter.

I,Ve seen some good patterns with that choke and the 1.75 oz winchester XRHD #6.

It's a nice choke.  I have one, and I plan to keep it.  It does pretty well with Lead 6's, Hevi13 6's, and Lead 7.5's. 

But as an all-around turkey choke, it can't touch my Indian Creek .665 in my 870.

IMHO the best cheap choke out there. I use one and love it with Hevi Shot.

I've shot hundreds of loads through my Ventilators, handloads, lead, XR, hevi, TSS, etc.  Great choke for the money.

I agree.  For the money, you won't beat that choke.

Here's a very good 10" pattern from that choke to check out.
