Title: Caught these Native Brook Trout Today

  Took advantage of the beautiful weather today and caught these Native Brook Trout !  :icon_thumright:

Those are some of the nicest Native Brookies I've seen.  Those Trout take me back to when I was about 40 years younger, fishing for Rainbows and Browns in the South Fork of the Holston River around Sugar Grove and Chilhowie, Virginia.  That is one thing that I truly miss living on the coast of NC not having any mountain streams close by to wet a line in.  GREAT CATCH!!!!!!

That mess of brookies brings back fond memories. We used to hammer them when I was younger. You can't beat a mess of fried up brook trout. MMMmmm good!!

Very nice catch,if your ever in Tennessee,try out the Obey River in Clay County.It is only 15 minutes from my house and it's loaded with Rainbows and Browns!

Neat. Here in Western Maryland it is illegal to use bait to catch brookies and illegal to kill them. Eating them, I suppose, might bring capital punishment. We have a particularly goofy fisheries agency.

Glad to see that I'm not the only one who doesn't belive in "catch and release"; great catch of the day there sir; we have great trout fishing less than an hour from my house; love catching and eating those wonderful trout' congrats.
