Title: hastings .665 lead #4s

shot my remington 1100 with 20 inch barrel and .665  hastings choke yesterday @40 yards.using older winchester 3 inch 1 7/8 oz  # 4s.put 101 pellets in 10 inch circle with2 patterns on turkey target 28 ,30 in head and neck.it shot better than my 835  moss   with  .675  carlson choke using same 3 inch shells.

101 at 40 yds with lead 4's is amazing!

i was supprised it out performed my 835 moss.i might try using #4s this season.the 835 might stay home.

NICE!! its a great feeling to find a gun that likes lead 4. That is a thumper at 40 yards.

That is great for number 4 shot.  I have some Win HV 3" 4's, Remington Nitro Mag 3" 4's and Federal Premium (pre FCW) 3" 4's, may have to give them a whirl at the patterning board.

Especially considering it's a 3" shell!
