Title: Did pretty good this weekend in Guntersville AL
Post by: Bustabeak on January 24, 2012, 11:14:35 PM
We took our last trip of the season to Guntersville this past weekend. We actually ended up doing pretty good. It was kind of rough Saturday morning with thunderstorms but we stuck it out and killed a few ducks. The Goldeneye's topped the trip off though!

He sees a duck coming from our left and asked me what it was. I saw it well enough from that distance to know it was a goldeneye and told him to kill it. Three shots, three MISSES and the duck landed about 150 yds away and never gave us another look. Only one I have seen
