Title: Cocobolo with buffalo horn
Post by: merocustomcalls on January 24, 2012, 01:12:54 PM
Had another request from a friend of mine that I run into every year at Midwest Nationals.  He wanted a Cocobolo trumpet with a buffalo horn mouthpiece.  He also wanted a brass ferrule instead of my usual nickel brass.  I really like the grain on this wood.  Gonna have a hard time giving it up but it has to go out in the woods with another hunter.

Thanks for looking.

Now this yelper is a real masterpiece. Brian stopped  by on the way to the PO and I played this beautiful caller, Nicest looking Cocobolo trumpet I ever did see in a long time. The pattern is fantastic.
The EZ play Mero and the tone/sound, the Mero tradition plays on!!!
I tried to buy, beg, borrow and steal, but to no avail.
