Title: Looking to do a little traveling?
Post by: Houndstooth Game Calls on January 22, 2012, 11:43:18 PM
My father out of the blue said son lets go on a may turkey hunt well thinking on it and him having a battle with cancer this year but beat it put in to perspective I better cherish the moment to watch him enjoy a out of state turkey hunt this season. I was thinking Kentucky or some where I don't have to drive 14 hrs. to get there any one got any suggestions of a outfit they have used and had success with! Main thing is having birds of course! Thanks in advance!

i could put you on birds in nebraska, but it is a 24 hour drive without stopping except for gas and maybe something to eat.or you could stop and make it a 2 day drive.

Southern IN or southern OH may be a good  choice also. Lots of public ground in both states. Both are quite hilly, so be prepared for some ups and downs!
