AFTER NEARLY 1200 VIEWS AND 200 REPLIES WE HAVE A WINNER.......YEP IT IS REDBUD, THIS HIGHLY FIGURED PIECE CAME FROM THE YARD OF A FRIEND WHEN A STORM WENT THROUGH AND TORE THE TREE UP AND WE SALVAGED SOME. IT WAS SO UNUSAL BECAUSE THIS TYPE OF WOOD IS OFTEN CONSIDERED TO BE A SHRUB, BUT THIS ONE WAS 14" ACROSS AND FULL OF TINY BURLS, i HAVE ONE OTHER PIECE (DRY) READY FOR ANOTHER TUBE AND LOOKS LIKE CULPEPPER IS GONNA GET IT...I JUST WANT TO SAY THAT EVERYONE WHO TRIED TO GUESS THE WOOD, ALL OF YOU ARE WINNERS, BECAUSE YOU HAVE THE LOVE FOR CALLS AND THE EFFORT YOU MADE PROVED THAT....PAPPY
