at my new job and loving it. Finally got out of construction and got a job with the city of Cedar Falls. Much nicer to have mostly set hours except for when I will be on call. Hopefully this job will be a lot easier on the body also. Now I will have a little more free time to spend on getting some calls done too. I have been trying hard for about 2 years now to get into something new and better so it really feels good to achieve it. :icon_thumright:
Congrats!!
Congrats Ryan.... What is your job with the city?
Glad to hear that!! I worked construction for 4-5 summers and it sucks. I did learn a lot, but it is hard on you. I really feel for those who work full time.

Congrats, You might find out that the job and smell is tolerable what you will get sick of is to have to listen to the whingeing of everyone who pays taxes in Cedar Falls being your boss. I know Ive's been a public works P-ON for 26 years, its the shits but some one has to do it, I hope to be out in another four; look out turkeys.
Congrats on the new job!
Congrats!! Change can be good....just watch out for your fingers making all of those calls!! Sounds like thing will be steadier for ya...schedule wise
